Does anybody have anything for the news post?

I'm planning on keeping it fairly short, wishing everybody Happy Holiday of Choice, and advising that we'll be quiet for the next few weeks. No pushes, few patches, many folks are busy... The usual!

We know about the weird characters in feed accounts; unless we need more reports to pinpoint the problem, I think people can safely stop reporting it. Unless you don't want them to stop? Up to you, obvs.

I'm not sure if First Validated Non-Anonymous Spammers is the sort of milestone we want to broadcast...

but spam volume is up, and I'm glad people are reporting it.
