Given that the rename system is so close (...hopefully so close *G*) to completion, would now be a good time to ask for input re: renaming from (and to?) communities?

I'm not sure what you mean. Renaming a P-type to a C-type? That seems like we shouldn't support that...?

Hm, I was thinking renaming a community to another community, or renaming a community to an existing personal journal.

There's probably a use case for renaming a community to a user, but that seems best to be admin-only or not at all until it's requested, or whatever.
