I don't think it's quite sunk in yet.  I don't think it will for a while.  But as [staff profile] denise has pointed out - we made this, it's ours!  Dreamwidth started out as a random idea in various minds, and only came together after I got this strange IM one day: "I have this crazy idea..."  Well, that crazy idea kinda become a crazy snowball which turned into this bit of a whirlwind we're on now.

I'm really excited to be working on this project.  There are so many things we can accomplish through Dreamwidth that we were unable to pull off at LiveJournal, for one reason or another.  Hopefully, with the support and active participation of the community, this site can grow into something great.

Here's to the past, the present, and the future.  Ooh, shiny!
